price comparison shopping, bargain discount shopping Wow, this morning I was watching the network news and they reported that gas might hit close to $4 a gallon by summer. This means more bargain discount shopping for me for items like food and pet supplies. Fortunately, there are some great stores in my neighborhood that have vast quantities of really great fresh, frozen and canned food for marked down prices, so I have that base covered. The bigger ticket items I want will definitely involve price comparison shopping, like new window coverings and other things I may want for the home this summer. You can save so much money if you do your homework before buying. I buy a lot of things online because I have found that their prices are lower, fundamentally, than a bricks and mortar store, and with price comparison shopping, I can get even bigger discounts on my purchases. So while I put $4 a gallon gas in my car, I'll be looking for ways to cut corners in the budget without sacrificing quality or quantity. It can be done (I hope!).
