Oh, and if you want to save some extra money when you’re shopping for holiday gifts, don’t forget about promotional codes. These provide an easy way to save. You can obtain promotional codes by subscribing to e-mail newsletters from your preferred retailers that notify subscribers about special sales and promotional codes that the general public might not be aware of. If you’re using comparison shopping sites to do your shopping, be aware of this simple fact: some comparison shopping sites only offer products and services from their advertisers, instead of every product in the category you’re searching. So don’t regard any comparison shopping site as the be-all and end-all of your shopping experience. Visit several of them, do you homework and make notes about which ones feature the best prices for the products that you’re seeking out for gifts. Another way to add to your convenience and save some money is to look for sites that offer free shipping. Some sites do, and some don’t, but always try to go to for the site that offers the lowest shipping costs, because that’s one area that really adds up.
