The internet is one giant online shopping mall. It should be the best place for bargain discount shopping; however, it's certainly inconsistent in locating the best finds. When comparing a department store with its corresponding online store, the best deals often go to the department store. Basically, during price comparison shopping between a department store and the online store, the department store wins for the best deals.

This isn't always the rule, sometimes the internet store offers better deals than its corresponding online store.  Price comparison shopping can be a difficult process when looking for the right deals. It's a great thing to be able to look for a shoe on a shopping search engine; however, you should never ignore the actual physical store.

Today, I did a bit of price comparison shopping myself. For Christmas, I had received a $50 gift certificate to Dillards. I decided to put it towards boots. I visited the Dillards store online to do some quick price comparison shopping between shoes. I found the perfect boot for me. It was by Bronx and called "Mia". The boot was originally $185 and was reduced to $111. I decided to be smart and call around the physical department stores and do some price comparison shopping there.

I realized, to my shock, the boot was merely $49.99 at the physical Dillards store! Unfortunately, it was out of my size. However, it really turned me off from shopping on websites of department stores. I wondered when the boot would be even more discounted and if I should wait. I was having a serious shopping dilemma when price comparison shopping.

I'm going to wait. What would you do?
